Elite Alt F10 Not Working to Create High Resolution Screen Capture

UPDATES:
Sept 26, 3303: After waiting three months for a fix on this issue, I was excited to download 2.4 and try a high resolution screen shot within Oculus. It is still not fixed. No, the tiling problem is not happening, but the high res shots are not stitching together a correct photo - as you can see below with the Clipper photo. That earth-like planet has oceans that are not obeying the laws of physics!

I assume this is caused by FDev not freezing the entire frame when you hit ALT-F10, so any slight movement of your head while the frames are being captured is causing the photo to not line up when the pieces are stitched together.

Work around: A valid work around that works pretty well is to have a flat surface nearby (like a TV tray) on which you can place your headset when you are ready to take a high res photo. Line up your shot with the headset resting on the flat surface, then WAKE UP your headset by hovering a thumb in front of the Oculus sensor (between the lens, slightly up), and hit ALT-F10 with your other hand. Most of the time I'm able to get a really good photo with this method. The fantastic neutron star  / Asp Explorer picture in this article was taken using the "TV Tray" method:

Aug 24, 3303: According to the 2.4 Open Beta patch notes, this tiling issue has been resolved

Jun 25, 3303: Issue turned over to the developers

Jun 24, 3303: Working with CMDR Vega in support. Opened ED in desktop mode and tried ALT-F10 - and it produced a perfect high res shot. So it looks like an Oculus VR problem.

Jun 24, 3303: Have logged a ticket with Frontier Support.

Alt F10 stopped working a number of months ago on my set up:
Nvidia GTX 980
Oculus Rift

Tonight I dug in to work on it. I went into Nvidia Geforce Experience Settings and remapped the “capture last 5 minutes of video” setting from Alt F10 to Alt F3. I then rebooted the PC and went into Elite in Oculus.

Now when I press Alt-F10 or SHIFT-ALT-F10 the screen flashes for about five full seconds, and the resulting photo is much higher res than standard, but it looks like an Andy Warhol layout as you see below. Totally unusable.
